2022 – May 25 – BNI Odyssey Meets at 55 Wall Street

It was our First social, after Satheesh, Harinath and I took over the reins of Odyssey for our term from April `22 to September `22.
We had a limited budget, and while we would have liked to do a social in the Central Business District, we were not getting many places that were asking for either a higher priced “set menu” or a very high Minimum Guarantee.

We zeroed in on 55 Wall Street in Jp nagar, as the price and the place matched up to our limited budget, and thanks to Siddharth Javalli’s friend owning the place, and offering us an extensive menu and a package that started from 6:30pm onwards till close.

Almost every other place had a minimum guarantee clause, and a 2-3 Hour window for the package “time” apart from being pricey at upwards of 2200-2500/ – per person.

A lot of cajoling and requesting later, we had about 20 – 25 of us at Wall Street from all corners of the city!

However, We did not realise that there was an IPL match the same night, and we ended up being a bit of a nuisance to all those patrons who had come to catch the match on their big screen !

We requested to be shifted to the lower floor near the dance floor. Soon after shifting the music / dj etc started and party went on a full swing.
