2024 – July -Reconnecting with the Bangalore Bhatia Samaj

For many years, I wasn’t the most active member of the Bangalore Bhatia Samaj, even though my father was a pillar of the community. He served for years as both President and committee member, devoting himself to the Samaj’s mission and fostering strong bonds with his fellow Bhatias. In contrast, my participation was minimal. Showing up every other function, at best, I wasn’t contributing to the vibrant community my father helped build. This year, I’m determined to change that and reconnect with my roots

Bridging the Generation Gap: A Call to Action

One of the Samaj’s biggest goals is to get younger members involved. The elders, or shall I say, the wise committee members, have been encouraging us to organize our own events and activities.

A Fun-Filled Day at Jain Farms

Thankfully, some fantastic people like Tejas, Kinjal, Trishna, Kunjal, Mihir, and others took the initiative. They organized a fun-filled day at Jain Farms. A beautiful resort, with loads of greenery, a swimming pool, and activites for Kids and Adults of all ages!

It was a full day affair, with everything from breakfast to tea, along with exciting activities like Bollywood Bingo, Pictionary, Housie, and even a magic show for the kids.

Despite the cloudy skies and light drizzle, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and I managed to capture some great memories with my trusty camera!
