Odyssey Visits Bhoomi Farms

Bhoomi Farms is a farmland project, about 20 mins away from Kanakpura town. Its a brilliant property set adjacent to the Mutatthi Reserve Forest, making this propery a scenic spot. Having a Reserve Forest next door, ensures no other development will be possible in the years to come! This is an added advantage for a wildlife or nature enthusiast !

The plan is to have every lane with a different colored flowering tree, wide pathways, rain water harvesting, drip irrigation & solar power. Every plot will have its own farm land, where one could choose the produce that you would like. A place full of trees, and ponds, and bridges, and far away from the madding crowd of bangalore. Yet being only 1.5 hours away from the city, makes it a perfect weekend getaway.

Gururajesh had invited us all to his place for a day out, and taken care of everything with no holds barred.

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast, a guided tour of the property, followed by games and music. Satheesh and Harinath gave us beautiful renditions of various kannada songs, and the DJ took over from there giving us good music to dance. The free-flowing Vodka/Breezer/Rum cocktails helped us all loosen up and enjoy even more.

Lunch was exquisite local food, of fresh fish, and naati chicken, and fresh vegetables !

A lot of dancing, eating, fun and frolic, and our day ended at approximately 6pm with a parting gift of a sapling for each of us!
