July 2018 – Meeting Goa Gang & a Trip to Anil’s Farm in Mulshi, in the monsoon

July 2018 was an eventful month for me. I was invited to attend the ELGI Summit 2018 that was more about how to a birds eye view of business in the future and an in depth talk on how to handle millennials. 

the deeper the talk, more i realised they were talking about people like me! .. 

Post which, I stayed in Mumbai for the weekend, to meet with the Goa Gang and also visit two suppliers, One Cromwell, and another Vishwakarma Engg. 

Met with the gang after so long and we had a party of sorts at Manan’s house in Tardeo. The party went on till late! 

I met Adorable Vansh for the first time, the product of Shraddha and Piyush :D. 

The next day Ashmi, Manan, Zaha, Meenu and I left to Anil’s Farm in Mulshi in Manan’s Car for a weekend of sleeping in a tent and taking in the awesome views and the weather. 

The road to Mulshi was packed all the way to lonavala. The highway was jammed for quite some time, but Google baba took us through some interior city roads to be able to make good time to reach the farm by lunch.

After a night of downing monkey shoulder, and some awesome barbecue we reluctantly returned to bombay. the return trip was plagued by traffic and almost continuous rain throughout the journey. 

Zaha kept us entertained for most part of the journey. 

We met manu mama for dinner at Butter Chicken Factory, a small but good food restaurant somewhere in South bombay. 

Took the early morning flight back home on monday , already planning our next trip. Hopefully soon!
