Odyssey Visits Discovery Village, Nandi Hills – 30th Nov 2014

This post is about when BNI Odyssey visited At discovery Village in 2014. Posting now, cos i didn’t have a blog then!!

A few weeks ago, Ms. Amita Prashant visited Odyssey and became formally a member of our eclectic group. 

She offered for us to organise a social at her Beautiful Nandi Hills Property on Sunday, 30th Nov 2014. 

I reached there an evening earlier, by bike, and spent the night there. Early morning, we were joined by a few of the guys for an early morning trek to a nearby hill. 

By the time we got back the rest of the troupe arrived. We had a tasty breakfast and proceeded for some “team building” activities. Soon after, they took us to Rope Challenge Area. An obstacle course about a 20 odd feet off the ground.

Everyone was able to do the course, some with fair ease. Everyone, Except me. For some reason the last 2 obstacles were way beyond what i could do. Anyways, I left that challenge for another day as they brought me down on a makeshift rope crane, which let me down slowly back to ground reality. A beautiful day, ended with sumptuous lunch, and some basic Congo drum lesson for all us. 

Most hung around for sometime, and after some tea headed back to bangalore to take on the rest of the year with renewed energy.
