Dunhill Resort – Agonda – Dec 2017

Ishaan was about to turn 4 in 3 months, and he had not yet been introduced to the sea! Preeti and i decided to rectify that by going with him to a gorgeous boutique hotel called dunhill resorts in agonda.  Agonda beach is known to be one of the south beaches that are most tranquil and unspoilt. We stayed at Dunhill resort as most reviews online suggested it to have the best hospitality. But apart from that, we discovered it also had the best food and the nicest people! When we reached, we found out that goa had been in the news for “cyclone okhi” that had hit the north beaches badly, and the seas were rougher than usual. the first day we werent allowed near the water due to unusual high tide, but the next day morning the tide was low and we took ishaan for a walk to the ocean.  He gingerly stepped into the water and was enjoying the sensation of the water coming on to his feet. As the water went back, it pulled his feet from under him and Ishaan was shocked at being dunked in the water!.. He soon got over the crying spell, and then wanted to go back ! .. we obliged. for the next two-three nights he was most happy to be in the ocean and took a lot of time to get him back on the beach when we wanted him to!
