October 2021- Hideaway trip with the B9 Gang

We shifted into this large society about 3 years ago. It was a move that took me a bit further away from the office, but it still is one of the best decisions we took..

Ishaan’s social skills blossomed as he met and made a whole bunch of friends, and we met their parents, and we became fast friends as well

The pandemic shutdown brought us all more close to each other, seeing that we were not allowed to open shop for a few months, and these were about the only physical faces we saw every day for a whole lot of months.

Planning for an overnighter trip with the kids took a whole year, almost.. but Kavita and Harin evaluated many places and weighing time, distance, reviews, quality etc etc narrowed it down to this beautiful property called “The Hideaway” very close to Hosur.

We’d been there twice already and really enjoyed the calm, the clean rooms and good food. It’s a pet-friendly place, with separate pools for humans and pets as well.

The human pool is quite shallow with a Max depth of about 5ft.

Food is homely, staff are friendly, costs are reasonable and it’s only about 1 – 1.5 hours from Bangalore depending on where you live in the city
