2023 – Odyssey’s ASKs, & Gets! (A.S.K Term April – Sep 2023)

After the Wonderful Handover from the BBB team, the team of Ashish, Shreya and Kirti, (Coined as ASK, courtesy Abhay), took the reins of Odyssey, and their term was a windfall of opportunities for members, and incidentally, ended in rains in Sakleshpur!

Almost 2 years online, and experimentation of in person meetings, Odyssey, was growing to be lots of fun, and the energy was infectious, and having 3 younglings on board to take us onwards and upwards seemed to be just the ticket Odyssey needed.

A.S.K started of by upscaling the meeting venue, from Simple and Friendly ITC Welcom, to the glitzy Ritz Carlton! They Followed up with a brunch bash at Raahi. In Spite of a meager attendance, the place played some good old music that was way before Aashish’s time. A glimpse of the fun we had!

A.S.K focussed on process and getting people to toe the line. It worked in most areas. They created many opportunities for members to interact on a business level, with a focus on meeting each other in their premises, taking each other to meet clients and put in a lot of effort to “streamline” the running of the chapter.

I was assigned the social media and branding role, as I was active the previous term on my own website and social media profile, and I thought it would be easy enough to get Odyssey onto the Social Media bandwagon.

I tried my best hand at it, but somehow I fell way below the high expectations the team had. We had many creative ideas, but could not come to consensus on many aspects. 

However, I can say I put Odyssey Bangalore Chapter on the Linkedin Map, and the YouTube Channel on as well.
