August 23 2020 – Early morning Ride

A “breakfast ride” was long overdue, and when the apartment’s superbike group suggested a ride to a lake near Ramnagar, I was quite excited.

The original ride plan was a tad boring for me. South City – Mysore road – ramnagar – breakfast at a2b – South City

Have always loved the “off beat” state highways instead of national highways, and hence took permission from Dr Raza Shah , of the South City superbike club, to meet them at the venue.

Shreyas (Versys 650), Navaneet (Adv390) Uday (Versys 650), and Raghu (Versys 1000) joined in as well

It was a beautiful ride, green roads, state highways, beautiful vistas.

We thought of stopping at a non descript place for breakfast which was not crowded, for fear of corona.

By the time we got back on Mysore road, we were so close to Nice road, that we ended up having breakfast at our own homes

Bannerghatta road to kanakpura road via Kagallipura

Kagallipura to Ramanagar (Rangarayana Doddi Lake) via kanakpura town

Met the South City group for a brief time while they were on their way off to breakfast.

The most beautiful stretch awaited us.

Rangarayana Lake to savandurga to manchenebele reservoir.

Returned to Mysore road and was home by 11 am.
